What is a typical session like?
A typical session consists of a brief warm up, 45 minutes of training, and 10 minutes of cooling down and stretching. I firmly believe in starting a training regimen with purely body weight exercises, since that is what you carry around all day!
What is expected of me?
I expect of all my clients to show up to each session ready to train or practice yoga in comfortable clothing and fully hydrated with a bottle of water. Personal training clients must wear sneakers. Yoga students must practice barefoot.
Why do I need to schedule a consultation?
For the first few sessions, I will be getting to know your body to determine which exercises best fit you. I identify these exercises by how your body moves and which muscles are strongest and weakest. The first session will have 4-5 tests to determine your level of fitness. We'll reassess every 4-5 weeks to determine progress made and possible changes in our regimen.
Do you typically proivde both nutritional and personal training?
I can provide you with both, however I am not a Registered Dietician. I've taken 2 years worth of nutrition courses and can give you tips on how to train yourself to eat in healthier ways.

Do you have specific times of the day dedicated to training or are you flexible?
I'm fairly flexible with scheduling. It's best for both the clients and me to pick days and times that would be consistent each week, so scheduling does not become a problem. Breaks in schedules often lead to discontinuation of training programs.
Where do we meet?
We can meet in your home (a studio apartment works fine!), your office or building gym, or we can find a gym in your neighborhood. Working out in a gym might increase the cost of the session. Travel a lot? I work out with clients over Skype!
What is your cancellation policy?
I have a strict 24 cancellation policy. You can cancel up to 24 hours prior to the session. If you cancel with less notice, you will be charged the total amount of the session, unless there is an emergency, determined at my discretion. In that case, you will be asked to reschedule the session within one week.
