As I transitioned away from competitive figure skating when I entered college to study exercise science, I felt a void in my life. Yoga and personal training filled that void.

I began studying how yoga influenced peoples’ heath and happiness with the non-profit organization, Yoga Activist. As I continued with my practice and working with Yoga Activist, I knew I needed to share what I learned with others.

In the summer of 2012, I had the honor to study under Kay Kay Clivio and Yogi Charu, two of the most respected yoga teachers in New York City, learning to teach styles including vinyasa, hatha, yin, and restorative, and how to work with adjustments, injuries, special needs, and beginners. I continued to study classical hatha yoga and meditation adjusting in classes and learning from Yogi Charu during a 200 hour mentorship.

Since then, I have never experienced as much joy as I have teaching group and private lessons.

As a cancer survivor myself, I’ve appreciated the amazing power of movement. I studied with Tari Prinster to learn how to share my knowledge with cancer patients and survivors.

I once again decided to immerse myself in intensive teacher training, this time with Alanna Kaivalya. With her, I learned both physical and energetic alignment of the body, physical adjustments, and yoga philosophy.
